Leilani v Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

Overnight stay. Initial room put in wreaked of mould/damp. Advised reception who promptly changed room to another. This room had issues locking the sliding door to balcony. Staff were lovely and very helpful and did their best. Didn’t feel safe leaving the hotel at night so had to order food in as there were no restaurants at hotel. Wouldn’t stay there again.

We booked a room for a one-night stopover in Brisbane. The beds are the best I have slept on in a hotel, comfortable, warm and cozy. Professional and efficient check in and easy checkout too. The mini bar was well stocked too! We'll book again for sure!

I was lucky enough for my family pay for a few nights away at The Johnson for my 80th - I felt so welcome straight away. The hotel left me chocolates and bubbly as a birthday surprise. The rooms were so comfortable with everything I needed - but the bathrooms were outstanding! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Loved the pool area! Also, there is no restaurant on site but a great seafood boil restaurant downstairs and an incredible creole restaurant across the road. Fantastic coffee shop 2 minutes away and free city bus across the road. Can't go wrong here!!!

The rooms and lovely and good size, large windows and a balcony. The staff at the Johnson are always friendly and helpful. Great location, close to the city but out of the busyness of the city. Great pool area.
